With over 40 years experience in travel, editorial, and fine-art imagery, Cameron is now a Neskowin-based landscape photographer. His food and wine photography appeared on numerous covers of Northwest Palate magazine from 1987-2010. Cameron’s landscape prints can be found in private collections and Rowboat Gallery in Pacific City, Oregon.
With a long history of film-based photography, he now shoots exclusively with digital cameras — both 35mm and high-definition mobile formats. All photographs are post-processed using various applications of dynamic range, tonality, and color adjustment layers and filters in order to express his personal interpretation of each image. Final prints are made with pigment-based ink and archival paper.
Primarily self-taught in photography, Cameron also studied art at Portland State University, Oregon College of Art and Craft, and Sitka Center for Art and Ecology.
